The Swan Fairy Tale/The Forsaken Tale

I managed to write 483 words today! I am not counting what I wrote after midnight, but I think this is going well. I just finished up a small scene and begun the next as Kellina is opening up to one of her close friends. With this it establishes that she can trust her friends with things without having to outright lie about it.
I just can’t believe I am writing something that is past novella length in years. This feeling is amazing even if I know that the word choice is weak, I just want to get the words out there and I will adjust to things at a later time. I am focusing on the emotional turmoil and character interactions rather than concern for syntax, barely resisting the urge to go back to the previous paragraph and change everything.
Reaching my daily challenge for word count is more important for me as of right now. I need to devote time to actually writing even if I am in the midst of a writers block. That is what I am training as of right now.
