I am going to be honest, most of the time when I write, I am at work composing an email to myself. I put the word count in word, email the total in the subject line and I’ll combine everything in the original document on Friday/Saturday. At this point I realize that I am hyperfixating on this rather than the actual draft, which is close to finishing. I have I believe four more chapters to write, unless my hands slip again, and knowing my track record they will.
